About Pet Lovers Centre

Pet Lovers Centre (PLC) is a Singapore-based pet retail and service chain founded by brothers David and Robert Ng. Through a franchise license agreement, Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. brought the brand to the Philippines, with the first PLC store opened in Robinsons Galleria in October 2018.

Established in 1973, the business was conceived as an avenue for pet owners to have access to products which specifically catered to their pets’ needs. From having fresh and dry food options with the proper nutritional requirements, to accessories such as toys, beds and flea shampoos, the store was a pioneer in the retail landscape. In the Philippines, the first Manila-based PLC store also houses the brand #39;s expansive selection of products and supplies, as well as a section featuring tropical fish, ornamental shrimp, aquatic plants, and small pet mammals.

PLC’s service philosophy is encompassed by the tagline “All passion, all pets,” and the company encourages responsible ownership alongside fostering a wider appreciation for pet care. It is part of the World Pet Association, formerly known as the World Wide Pet Industry Association, which is the oldest non-profit trade organization in the pet industry.

In 1995, the management of company was passed on to the second generation of the Ng family who ushered in the expansion of its store network in territories outside Singapore. In 2008, the brand evolved into a franchise model. PLC, led by its CEO David Ng Whye Tye, currently has over a hundred stores across Southeast Asia, namely in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Brunei, and most recently, in the Philippines.

Reminders

  • Each eGift has a unique barcode. To use the eGift at the store, the barcode must be shown to the cashier for scanning and validation.
  • The recipient is responsible for the safekeeping of the eGift. The recipient is recommended to show it only during payment at the store.
  • Do not print the eGift.
  • The eGift may be used until the gift voucher balance is fully consumed.
  • The eGift barcode must be shown from a phone or electronic device. Printed eGift will not be honored by the cashier.
  • If the purchase goes beyond the eGift amount, the recipient is to pay for the difference through any acceptable payment method of the store.
  • Multiple eGifts may be used per transaction.
